I kept my eyes glued to my hands in front of me, clutching the handle of my bag. My pale pink polish was scraping off, the fault of me unpacking boxes and arranging things. Around the car I could hear the chatter of my soon-to-be classmates and peers.
“Moon, you have to get out sometime.”
I could hear a joking edge to my fathers voice, but there was also a sad undertone. He knew I was upset about the move, but refused to change his mind.

Division of Two, Part 1I pulled up to the curb and shut off the engine, then pulled out a small sheet of paper from my backpack sitting on the passengers seat. It was the directions my math teacher had given me, she was in charge of the whole tutoring process, and as she had told me. I definitely needed a tutor. I couldn’t help that I wasn’t as smart as Arial, though, she couldn’t exactly tutor me because we had totally different classes, She was taking Advanced Calculus and I was taking Basic Algebra, our brains just weren’t the same.
